Lyle Kessler is a playwright, actor and director. His films include Orphans, The Saint of Fort Washington starring Danny Glover and Matt Dillion, Gladiator starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Touched starring Ned Beatty and Mr. Kessler.

Lifetime Achievement Award in Acting

Len Cariou is an internationally recognized, Tony Award-winning and Emmy-nominated actor. Mr. Cariou’s career spans sixty-five years on regional stages, Broadway, off-Broadway, film and television. A member of the Theatre Hall of Fame, he is known best for his legendary performance as the title character in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Jean (Van Kirk) Dalrymple
September 2nd, 1902 – November 15th, 1998

Jean Dalrymple was a founding member of City Center and the American Theatre Wing. She is hailed as a publicist, writer, and producer.
From 1984 she mentored James Jennings, founder of American Theatre of Actors. In 1985, James and Jean together established the Jean Dalrymple Awards to honor theatrical talent at the Off-Off- and Off-Broadway level. Notable recipients for the Jean Dalrymple Lifetime Achievement Award have included Ginger Rodgers, Patricia Neal, and Danny Aiello.
