A.T.A. Needs Your Help…

Artists in the USA are facing censorship (Anti-Woke legislations in FL, for example). In NYC where we can push the envelope of diverse voices, it’s integral that we continue to bring both entertainment and thought-provoking discourse to the stage.

Since 1976, A.T.A. has been a creative home for actors, playwrights, directors, and theatre lovers in the heart of New York City. Our mission is simple but profound: to foster the development of new voices — artists who might not otherwise have a place to take risks, grow, and share their stories.

Over the years, we’ve given life to more than 2,000 works, and provided opportunities for thousands of artists.

It’s Our 50th Season! Help us to upgrade the facilities!

Your generous and tax-deductible contribution will help the A.T.A. to continue our mission.

• Maintain and improve our historic Midtown theatre spaces

• Support diversity of actors, directors, and playwrights working on new or overlooked works

• Ensure accessible productions for our community.

Thank you! So far we have been able to:

  • Repair the middle section of the stage in the Sargent Theatre
  • Upgrade the Carpets in the Sargent Theatre Dressing Rooms
  • Insulate the Company Space Windows and purchased extra heaters for winter
  • Add a MOTU 4 Sound System
  • Pay Artists with more regularity
