Synopsis: Two early plays by the famed American playwright, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. “A Wife for a Life”, set in Arizona, involves two men mining for gold who discover a surprising bond between them. In “Recklessness,” a woman tries to escape her loveless marriage to a wealthy businessman by having an affair with their chauffeur which leads to devastating consequences.
